Lavery Brewing Opens Taproom Expansion In Erie To Great Fanfare

Last September, we brought you the news that the popular Erie Brewery, Lavery Brewing Company, would work towards expanding its taproom at 128 W 12th Street. The space is now open, after a Grand Opening to the public on April 28th.

The 13-year-old brewery purchased “Hungry Howie’s” a former pizza shop/restaurant which is located directly in front of the existing taproom. This additional space provides Lavery with an additional 2,200 sq/ft expansion and adds roughly 60 seats to its overall dining space.

With the addition of this space, it allows Lavery to relocate their main bar, which now runs the entire length of the building while also installing a new draft system.

The expansion of the location also has allowed the Erie-based brewing company to expand its kitchen. Prior to the expansion, the taproom offered a menu of food in a fairly tight space. Expanding the kitchen can now increase to include even more cooking equipment such as fryers, a flat top, and four deck pizza oven. This will in turn mean locals can expect an even bigger food menu that they have already come to know and love. You can see the full menu here.

The new, larger taproom is now open on 12th Street in Erie from Monday through Saturday 12:00 to 10:00 PM or Sunday 12:00 – 8:00 PM. You can continue to keep up with Lavery’s growth by following them on Facebook and Instagram.
