Love City Brewing Opens Outdoor Beer Garden; “Love City Gardens”

Arts + Crafts Holdings announces a new partnership with Love City Brewing Co in the form of a pop-up beer garden located at 10th and Hamilton Street.

Love City Gardens will open at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 19th, which is also the brewery’s 4 year anniversary date.

Love City Gardens will operate as an extension of the brewery’s tasting room just steps away. An homage to the punk rock venue “City Gardens” in Trenton, NJ, the outdoor beer garden will maintain the gritty city feel of the brewery mixed into a lush garden setting. The brewery adapted to COVID restrictions and regulations by expanding the taproom outside on the adjacent parking lot and raising a large outdoor tent (they lovingly referred to as “The Circus”). Their move into the ready built garden across the street from their storefront was a natural fit for the group who already perfected their systems for service and delivery over the past year.

Craig Grossman, Managing Partner, says “Love City has become a neighborhood anchor since opening 4 years ago and we are excited to see them take over the empty “pop up” garden for this season. As an anchor in the Spring Arts community their expansion into this space shows there is a resurgence of energy and desire to get back out into breweries and restaurants, the nice weather doesn’t hurt either!

They have redesigned the space, adding more seating and additional awnings to protect guests from the elements. Love City, known for hosting yoga classes with adoptable puppies and sold-out drag brunches, has already lined up programming that will appeal to new patrons as well as neighborhood regulars.

We’re so excited to debut Love City Gardens! April 19 is our 4th anniversary and we look forward to celebrating with everyone. It’s been a difficult two years, but this space feels bright and joyful, and we hope that will be the theme of the upcoming year” says Melissa Walter, the woman behind the uber successful brewery.

Located steps from the taproom entrance on Hamilton Street, it’s a little garden oasis tucked under the elevated rail line.

A pergola provides protection from the rain, and shipping containers offer shaded seating areas. This bright, fun, and inviting space will be your go-to for outdoor drinks!

We’ve been working on this project all spring – landscaping, painting, and adding fun touches! You can expect a welcoming, vibrant, and colorful place to enjoy the warm weather.
