Madra Allta from Lavery Brewing Company is a 6.4% India Pale Ale. Madra Allta is the Gaelic word for Wolf.

This beer pours to a clear amber color with a small head. With a smell of pine, grapefruit, and orange, this is a very crisp and dry IPA. You will taste a lot of notes including: citrus, honey, malt, and orange peel. All of the above make this a well balanced, easy drinking IPA.

Given the IBU rating of this beer, we expected more bitterness. This was not the case, and in fact it’s a sweet drinkable IPA. Available year-round you need to try this if you haven’t!
