Malt-A-Palooza an event that has become well known for celebrating Pennsylvania’s rich agricultural history returns Thursday, November 5th. And like many events in 2020, the host, Deer Creek Malthouse, has made the decision to go virtual for its 6th annual event.
Deer Creek has teamed up with Chatham University and the Grains & Revolution Conference and brewers across the Commonwealth for a panel discussion and collaboration beer release. Guests can join them for FREE to talk and taste with the maltsters, brewers, & farmers, responsible for “PA Pride“, a hazy pale ale made with local organic spelt and pale barley malt.
As mentioned above the event will be celebrated with the release of PA Pride; a STATE-WIDE collaboration brew made with 100% PA Craft Malt. Inspired by our agricultural heritage in Pennsylvania and the farmers who grow grain. “PA Pride” is a sessionable hazy pale ale made with organic spelt from Dauphin County and 2-row barley from Chester County.
Admission to this online event is FREE! To join them online for a panel discussion with brewers making a social and agricultural impact on craft beer, and to participate in a virtual beer tasting of PA Pride, register for the Grains & Revolution conference. The Deer Creek sponsored happy hour will take place from 6:00 – 7:00 PM following the first full day of the virtual conference. You can find full details on this years event here.
