New Trail Plans Fourth Anniversary Party For May 14th With Four Statewide Beer Collabs And More

New Trail Brewing is excited to share that they will be celebrating their Fourth Orbit around the Sun and you are invited to celebrate with them! The Williamsport brewery will have surprises planned and more. The party officially takes place Saturday, May 14th starting at 11:00 AM.

Fourth Orbit, which celebrates the event, will see distribution so that those around the state of Pennsylvania can join them in celebrating even if they can’t make it to their party.

“Fourth Orbit will be brewed with some of the best hops we’ve been able to work with over the last 4 years, including our hand-selected Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Cashmere. Fourth Orbit is an ode to the beers we’ve brewed and techniques we’ve developed over the last 4 years, as well as a huge Thank You to our team & many fans.” – Mike LaRosa

In addition, New Trail is releasing four special collaborations with four of their favorite breweries from the last four years on four different releases for the party. The brewery describes the four beers and how they all came about, below:

Collab with Dancing Gnome:

Dancing Gnome in Pittsburgh, PA was started by some very like-minded people, and they created our favorite Pale Ale – Lustra.  We wondered what would happen if we combined Lustra with our beloved Gear Head, then lowered the alcohol to table strength.  Enter Petite Radiance Table Pale Ale.  A beautifully delicate collaboration with our good friends at Dancing Gnome that probes the possibilities of low-alcohol merged with high craftsmanship.”

Brewed with pilsner, oats, and wheat then gently hopped with some of our favorite hops, new and classic, including Citra, Mosaic, Centennial, and Amarillo.  You can expect Radiant citrusy overtones, light resin and balanced bitterness in this 3.5% ABV Pale Ale.

Collab with Tröegs:

Tröegs has long been one of the pillars of Pennsylvania craft, and we could not have been happier when John Trogner joined us on the Expedition Pack project with Loggers Path Modern Barleywine.  After canning what we needed, we put the rest into freshly dumped Makers Mark and 1792 Bourbon Barrels and patiently waited 12 months.

Barrel Aged Loggers Path is a jammy, sticky 10.5% Barleywine with notes of toffee, fig, warm vanilla, marshmallow and oak.

Collab with Warwick Farms:

We first worked with Warwick Farm on Trellis Hazy DIPA, which was also in collaboration with Breweries in PA. Trellis was brewed to celebrate the craftsmanship driving American hop farms where we used experimental and newly-named varieties.  We’ve teamed up once again to create Framework, Quadruple Dry-Hopped Hazy Double IPA.  We dry-hopped Framework 4 times with Amarillo, Bru-1 and Simcoe.  The result is bursting at the seams with hoppy aromatics of pineapple, orange and tropical dankness.

Collab with Human Robot:

Human Robot has been a compatriot in the pursuit of elevated lager since their founding, and we celebrate that mission with Forgotten Stream, a lightly dry-hopped Rice Lager.  Using Jasmine rice in the malt bill serves to make a clean, crisp and light bodied lager.  We then gently hopped Forgotten Stream with Nelson Sauvin and Motueka for undertones of bright white grapes and zesty limes.
