Source Urban Brewery To Close Fishtown Location After Five Years

Source Urban Brewery is closing its Fishtown location after five years in the Philadelphia neighborhood.

The brewery announced the news on social media, saying it has decided not to renew its lease. This weekend will be the final weekend for the Fishtown location.

“We have made the decision not to renew our lease, and this will be our final weekend in Fishtown,” the brewery shared.

Source thanked the Fishtown community for welcoming and supporting the brewery over the past five years, saying the location created countless memories, friendships, great beers and unforgettable nights.

Before closing the doors, the brewery is encouraging craft beer fans to stop in one last time this weekend, August 15th and 16th.

“Come see us one last time this weekend, grab a beer, raise a glass, and of course, get our award-winning Smash Burger one last time,” Source shared.

Source Brewing In Fishtown

Source Brewery opened its Fishtown location at 1101 Frankford Avenue on September 17, 2021. The location featured a 32-tap system, a 7-barrel brewhouse, a full kitchen, and outdoor beer garden seating.

The Fishtown location marked Source Brewing’s expansion into Philadelphia after establishing its brewery in New Jersey. After five years, the brewery is now preparing to close the doors on this chapter.

For one final weekend, Source is inviting Fishtown craft beer fans to stop in, grab a beer, and enjoy the Smash Burger before the location closes.
