Beer For Your Dog? The Leaning Cask Now Has “The Pupper Pint”

If you’re going to grab a beer with your best friend, why should you be the only one with a pint?

Want to grab a beer and bring your dog along? Now your four-legged drinking buddy can have a brew of their own.

The Leaning Cask Brewing Company in Springdale has introduced The Pupper Pint, a dog-safe “brew” made with malted barley, water and nutritional yeast.

There are no hops, alcohol or active yeast involved, making it a treat specifically created for dogs, not human beer. The brewery notes that it does contain gluten.

So while you’re enjoying a pint, your pup can kick back with their own bowl of the good stuff. The new offering fits right in at The Leaning Cask, which has long welcomed dogs into the brewery.

About The Leaning Cask

Located at 850 Pittsburgh Street in Springdale, The Leaning Cask opened in 2017 and was founded by Josh and Stefanie Lipke.

The brewery was inspired in part by their trips to England and the traditional pub culture they experienced there, including the idea of creating a welcoming place where dogs could join their owners. Their name also ties into its focus on traditional cask-conditioned ales, a style of beer that naturally develops carbonation in the cask before being served.

Just remember: The Pupper Pint is for dogs, not humans!
