Style: IPA

Adjuncts: Lactose

Paper Trail is Urban Village Brewing Company’s second ever can release, and also their second in consecutive months.  We brought you our review of their first can release, Wrong Way, which was extremely popular and sold out quickly from the brewery.  Paper Trail followed suit with rapid sales, as there were only 3 cases left when I went to pick up my 4 pack.  Fret not if you missed out at the brewery, plenty of cans went out for distribution.

The beer pours a hazy pale orange with a nice white head that leaves a fair amount of lacing as you sip.  The aroma is well rounded with floral, fruity, citrus and earthy notes from the use of Saaz, Nelson Sauvin and Amarillo hops.  The mouthfeel is soft from the use of lactose and flavors of citrus fruit greet you to start, subtle earthy tones of green pepper follow and it finishes with juicy notes of melon.

Be sure to check out Urban Village Brewing Company, and stay tuned for their next release, which we could not be more excited for!
