Back in November 2021, we had first shared the news of Recon Brewing’s third taproom in South Fayette. The grand opening of this new space will be on February 4th, 2022 from 4:00 to 10:00 PM.
The third taproom for Recon is at the Crossroads at Hastings neighborhood by Charter Homes. The new space is located at 1401 Hastings Crescent Bridgeville, PA in Allegheny Township, roughly 30 minutes South West of Pittsburgh.
This marks the second time the Butler County brewery has teamed with Charter Home. Recon opened its second taproom in Cranberry Township in May of 2021.
For those not familiar, Recon was established only 5 years ago in February 2016 when three friends met through the Butler Township fire service. Toby Wehr, Dave Bestwick and Nate Bacher set out on a mission to start a brewery that would focus on high-quality brews known for their drinkability and value.
Their “drink local” mentality means that all materials, supplies, equipment, and even design are sourced locally. Recon has quickly become a favorite local spot known for its involvement in the Butler community.
