Red Mo Ale is an American Red Ale with 5.0% ABV from Otto’s Pub & Brewery in State College, PA. A favorite of current, former and future students at Penn State University they provide a wide variety of high quality pub food, delicious desserts, all in addition to their fresh brewed beer.

This ale pours to a deep amber color with a good amount haze and a thin off white pillowy head that leaves noticeable lacing on the glass as it dissolves.The aroma is full of caramel malts and earthy, almost herbal hops with a small floral note.

First sips give off a mild toasted grain flavor and light yeast elements. There are also nutty malt elements with gentle fruitiness in the yeast flavor. This sweetness is matched with a level of hops that leaves just hint of bitterness from Liberty and Palisade. The finish is smooth with more bready notes coming out, a mixture of biscuit and almond.
