Staggered Leg Brewing To Open In York Friday, July 21st

Congratulations to the team at Staggered Leg Brewing as they officially open their doors on Friday, July 21st at 4790 W Market Street in York, PA. Not only will the opening of the brewery add to the record number of brewing companies operating in PA, but it will also add to the vast number of Veteran owned and operated breweries in Pennsylvania.

To learn more about Staggered Leg we spoke with military veteran and brewery owner Dennis Dacheux Jr. who (with his father Dennis Dacheux Sr. and brother William Dacheux) will be leading business operations and ownership.

Guests of Staggered Leg will be delighted to hear that the Dacheux family has spent years perfecting the many different aspects of the business prior to opening the brewery. As Dennis shared, his brother William will lead brewing operations. Having brewed professionally in the past as well as spending time homebrewing, William will bring his expertise to the brewing side of the business.

Staggered Leg plans to offer seven beers immediately once opening, with the opportunity to add more to its twelve tap system. While also leaving a few taps open for guest beers from other PA producers. All brewing will be done on their three-barrel system which is produced at an offsite production only space. William has produced a variety of beer in the past and plans to continue to offer that variety once the brewery is open. Don’t be surprised to see higher ABV beers as that has been a calling card of William’s having produced a 10% pilsner (which is where the brewery gets its name).

While William will manage brewing operations, Dennis will oversee food production. Having run a BBQ business for the past 8 years, Dennis is excited to offer the local community a mouth watering food menu which will take advantage of a pizza oven and smoker among many other things.

The plan is for Staggered Leg to offer a menu that consists of sandwiches, individual pan pizzas, fried food, appetizers, loaded potatoes, salads and so much more. As we learned, Dennis is very proud of the work he has done in the food industry and feels confident that guests will be overwhelmed with enjoyment when it comes to the food and beer being offered at their brewing taproom. Both indoor and outdoor seating will be available to enjoy the wide variety on the menu.

As Dennis continued to share, the environment at Staggered Leg Brewing will be a rustic style and homey atmosphere where they are looking to create conversation and a sense of community in every pour. They will center their business around nostalgia, comfort, and curiosity. Dennis is ensuring this vision comes to life as he is working on the construction of the space himself.

As of this writing the plan is for the brewery to be open Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Be sure to follow the brewery on Facebook to see the progress of their brewery buildout and keep up with all of their latest news.
