In early July, we brought you the news that Tattered Flag was opening its FIFTH location inside The Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course at 777 Hollywood Blvd in Grantville. This location is now open! You can visit them from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM Friday through Sunday.
This 8,900 sq/ft 200 seat restaurant and kitchen space overlooks the entire casino and was formerly called the Skybox Sports Bar. This space will also be accessible without going through the casino. Tattered Flag will serve upscale pub food, similar to what is served at their location in Middletown, as well as a full lineup available of Tattered Flag’s beer and liquor available (these will also be available to drink while walking around the casino grounds too).
The menu at the newest Tattered Flag location is very similar to what fans of the brewery have come to expect. Over 30 items which include appetizers, entrees, house smoked barbecue, artisan tacos, and a kids menu. And of course, a rotating draft list of Tattered Flag beers brewed at their main brewery in Middletown.
Both the brewery and the casino will agree upon a veteran charity organization quarterly to donate a portion of revenues each month. This is also happening with the Live Nation concert series they hold too. In addition, The Hollywood Casino has a program for vets called “MyHeroes”, a program they run that offers exclusive perks to veterans including concerts and many others experiences.
The casino is looking to add a hotel, a Barstool Sportsbook, and other amenities in the future to establish itself as a destination for vacations.
