The Pittsburgh Invades Philly Beer Fest takes place March 2nd, 2019 at Workhorse Brewing and is proudly sponsored by Kunda Beverage; King of Prussia’s premier craft beer distributor, specializing in hard-to-find American craft beers as well as imported selections from around the globe.
And now for the time all ticket holders have been waiting for. Here is what you can expect to enjoy on March 2nd……
Pouring From Grist House:
Flood Line IPA – 6.5% IPA – This beer is a bit iconic for them. These cans were delivered to the brewery just days after a big flood. This outstanding IPA has been a fan favorite from the moment it hit taps! Hazy and hoppy, you won’t want to miss these!
Big sIPA – Sour IPA – Releasing this weekend! Brewed with lactose, Madagascar vanilla beans, raspberries, strawberries, cocoa nibs, and chamomile.
Glitter Panda – 10.5% Triple IPA – The Breweries In PA/ Levante/ Grist House collab! Brewed with Mosaic, ripe with banana puree, Madagascar Vanilla, lactose sugar, and an oasis of coconut.
Pouring From Dancing Gnome:
Stained Glass Ceilings – 8% DIPA – Hopped with a truly absurd amount of Amarillo, Mosaic, and Citra hops, SGC is a punch in the face of huge tangerine, mango, and peach with an incredible pillowy soft mouthfeel and a perfectly dank finish.
Lustra – 5.8% Pale Ale – An ode to the unity of malted barley, hops, yeast, water, and the brewer who prudently blends them. Intense tropical and citrus fruit aromas and a clean fruity bitterness work in harmony with the lightly toasted wheat bread flavors derived from the malt.
Pouring From East End:
Green Giant – 7.2% IPA – Not only was this beer their brewers first recipe, but it just might have been the fastest moving beer they’ve ever tapped! Green Giant is a single hop IPA brewed with Citra Hops… first wort and late addition hopping keep the bitterness down and the hop flavor up front where it belongs.
Snow Melt – 7% Winter Ale – A rich, roasty, mahogany-hued winter ale, brewed with Simcoe and Nugget hops that brings a bright pine finish. Best used for frost removal, holiday toasting, and guaranteed to clear the fog off your glasses.
Pouring From Yellow Bridge:
Horatio – 6% NE IPA – Packed with Mosaic, Motueka, and Amarillo, the hop profile on this really shines! This beer has a smooth and creamy mouthfeel thanks to the abundance of oats and malted wheat.
Ignacious – 7% NE IPA – Packed full of Simcoe, Amarillo, and Vic Secret, the aroma is dripping with dank melon and berries. The use of oats and malted wheat keeps the mouthfeel soft, full, and very very drinkable.
Pouring From Eleventh Hour:
Pouring From Voodoo:
They’re Good Hops, Brent (Batch 4) – 6.6% IPA – Batch #4 Traditional American IPA brewed with wai-iti, el dorado and mosaic hops.
The other is TBD
Pouring From Insurrection:
Pouring From Four Points:
We hope you enjoy!
