As a recently married man there is one thing I know; my wedding day was all about what my wife wanted. Not because she is the demanding type, but because after 1,400,566 hours of ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ I knew she was ready to unleash a fully prepared plan of what the day would look like. And I was not going to stand in the way.
However, there was one area I did want to have a say in; the rehearsal dinner. As a craft beer fan, I knew I wanted to include craft beer into my wedding (beyond just the bar). The rehearsal dinner being at a local brewery was my goal. As I have experienced, craft breweries are becoming so much more than what they used to be. A brewery isn’t just a location to fill up on the beer, but most are providing dining experiences for the entire family.
Unfortunately for me, that dream never became reality. The reason? I couldn’t find a location that worked for us. (Don’t worry, we still ended up having a great time). So, I’m here to make sure the same doesn’t happen to you. We’ve traveled every square mile of Bucks county to bring you the best 5 breweries to host your rehearsal dinner.
In no particular order, here is the list:
Free Will Brewing | Perkasie, PA
Located on E. Walnut Street in Perkasie, Free Will is not just the towns first craft brewery, but they have become a staple of the Perkasie community in the short time they have been open. Visit their brewery and tap room in Perkasie on most nights and it is buzzing with excitement.
If you are looking for the complete craft brewery experience, this is the space for you. Their private space is located right in the middle of their active brewery! The space is a partitioned off area located within the Brewhouse among the stainless steel tanks and the wooden barrels they use to age and ferment their amazing beer. If you are looking for a true, authentic craft brewery feel to your event, you should look no further than Free Will.
Packages Offered: They offer “community” seating, in a German styled beer hall. For your event, you may rent up to 4 picnic tables. They do not offer a traditional catering option, however you are more than welcome to work with the brewery to bring in your own food and non-alcoholic drinks (they also can recommend local caterers). Food trucks are parked at Free Will most days, and they can put you in touch with the truck at your event to discuss a special menu. And the bar pouring the delicious, hand crafted Free Will beer is just steps away from the private area!

The Proper Brewing Company | Quakertown, PA
The Proper Brewing Company is located on W Broad Street in Quakertown and has an amazing private area that you will not only want to have your rehearsal dinner at, but your wedding reception as well!
What was once an old Vaudeville Theater (with the original theater stage still intact) has been transformed into one of the areas best locations for craft beer and much more! The private area and tap room are separated by a wall and doorway, making for the ultimate privacy.
Packages Offered: Both food and alcohol packages are offered. Alcohol packages include open bar or pay as you go options. A plentiful and delicious food package is offered including pasta dishes, vegetarian, meat, fish, sides and so much more!

Vault Brewing | Yardley, PA
Located on Main St in Yardley, Vault Brewing not only offers an ideal event space, but a unique building from the 1800’s as well. Originally the National Bank of Yardley, in 2012 Vault took over and transformed this building into one of the areas more exciting breweries while keeping many original features like the original bank vault (hence the name).
The private event space at Vault is separate from the main dinning area and boasts its own restroom, bar, exit and staff making it the ideal location for your rehearsal dinner. It is most conducive to a mingling atmosphere with food being served buffet style.
Packages Offered: Vault offers packages that feature appetizers, main entrees and desserts. They also provide a variety of beverage packages to choose from that are easily customized including both consumption tab and open bar options. Special requests such as cakes, live music, brewery tours, tastings, and audio/visual setup can also be accommodated. All bookings include the aid of a personal coordinator during the entire process to make sure the event runs smoothly.

Triumph Brewing | New Hope, PA
Located on Union Square Dr in New Hope you will find Triumph Brewing. If you’re looking for a traditional restaurant that also allows you to stay in the brewery scene, look no further than Triumph.
Their semiprivate room, also known as the Cage, is located on their main floor and includes two pool tables and dartboard. This room is ideal for a more casual cocktail style party but it can also sit up to 35 guests for a sit down dinner. Guests are welcome to bring any outside decorations, flowers, etc. They will also set up a small bar in the room with beer and house wine (other alcoholic beverage cans be ordered through a personal server).
Packages Offered: Triumph offers many different packages for both food and alcohol. Food packages include a choice of over 15+ appetizers, buffet or traditional dinner including beef, chicken, vegetarian, pasta, and much more! Alcohol packages include beer, wine, cocktails, soda, tea and coffee. Each package can be customized based on time (2 hours, 3 hours or 4).
