“The Workhorse Tour” By Workhorse Brewing Returns In 2022 With More Events Across A Longer Season

In 2021 King of Prussia-based Workhorse Brewing Company announced the launch of “The Workhorse Tour”, an initiative that paired the game of golf with the craft beer industry in a one-of-a-kind program. The initial season was such a success that they are returning in 2022 with even MORE planned!

The Workhorse Tour will bring locally made beer to golf courses at more than 250 event days over a 7-month season. As of this writing, the tour has more than 40 events planned at 38 golf courses throughout Southeastern PA and Delaware.

Most notably, the brewery recently announced the formation of an official partnership with the Golf Association of Philadelphia (GAP) for the 2022 season. This pairing offers expanded member benefits to its players, including all of those included in a GAP membership.

For 2022 there are three memberships available for individuals who would like to sign up for the Workhorse Tour. Their standard season-long membership begins at $50 which includes a GAP/USGA Handicap Index number, a $25 gift card for the Workhorse King of Prussia Taproom, and a Workhorse Tour membership card that can be redeemed for regular discounts at the Taproom.

The next membership level is known as their premium-tier membership which is $150 and includes everything mentioned above plus one complimentary playing opportunity through GAP Member Play Days or Philadelphia PGA Section Pro-Ams. This membership level is first-come, first-serve, and limited to 100 participants.

A third membership, through a partnership with The Golfer’s Journal, includes a year-long membership to its quarterly publication, as well as the benefits offered in the standard membership.

In addition to the expanded season, the brewery is also producing a special new beer release for the 2022 season. The new 5% “Tour Session IPA” is being touted as the perfect caddie to accompany you along the tour.
