Type A, a 7% ABV American IPA was canned in a limited release from Conshohocken Brewing Company.
A west coast-style IPA, its hop profile includes a blend of Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe. Pale and pilsner malts were added to create balance in this beer as well.
Pouring to a bright orange color, you notice an intense hop aroma, as well as some pine and malt. Tasting brings all those hop flavors you expect, but with a smooth malt backbone. This allows for a nice balanced IPA with a dry finish.
Conshohocken has been increasing their can releases recently, and we aren’t complaining! Head to the brewery to pick Type A up, and stay tuned for their future releases.
