If you’re a regular reader of this site you can’t get enough of Pennsylvania beer. Which means on December 17th the place to be will be at Voodoo Brewing in Meadville for an all day celebrate of dark PA beers.
Voodoo has invited some of the best breweries all across Pennsylvania to pour their darkest beers for guests to enjoy as a part of their Big Blackout Day. The following breweries from all corners of the state will be pouring during the event:

- Hitchhiker
- Human Robot
- Imprint
- Lavery
- Mad Chef
- New Trail
- Voodoo
- Winding Path
In addition to the beer Voodoo will also be offering two very special “Big Blackout Day Pizzas”. One which will be a house made roasted garlic pesto on voodoo signature crust. Topped with mozzarella, chorizo, blood sausage, reaper pepper goat cheese and flaming hot dust. The next is a Dark Balsamic Duck and Fig topped with mozzarella, roast Duck, figs, goat cheese, and dark Balsamic glaze.
Rounding out the day will be live music and, as they call it, “soul crushing cocktails”. So mark your calendars for December 17th and join them at their compound in Meadville, PA for what is sure to be an amazing celebration of Pennsylvania craft beer.
