As you may know, Wyndridge Farm is one of the many breweries that have joined the international ‘Brave Noise‘ beer release.
If you are not familiar, ‘Brave Noise‘ (4.5% PAle Ale) was the result of “an industry reckoning that started when Brienne Allen, production manager at Notch Brewing (Salem, Massachusetts) at the time, asked the following question on her Instagram story: “Have you ever experienced sexism in the beer industry?”.
After Allen shared thousands of responses, a movement was born and this beer is a direct result of it.
Wyndridge Farm will host a special release of this beer at their brewery/ cidery in Dallastown, PA on Thursday, October 7th starting at 6:00 PM. The evening will include a beer dinner, the release of the book “A Woman’s Place Is in the Brewhouse: A Forgotten History of Alewives, Brewsters, Witches, and CEOs” by Tara Nurin, and a moderated panel of brewers.
The panel will include Irena Wise from Winding Path Brewing, Libby Roether from Devil’s Backbone Brewing, and Hannah Ison from Zeroday Brewing.
