Neshaminy Creek Brewing has made the difficult decision to close down the Borough Brewhouse in Jenkintown, citing COVID. Closed since the beginning of the pandemic, the brewery is now selling the building.
Opened in May of 2017, Neshaminy Creek’s Borough Brewhouse had 30 beers on tap, including a handful made on site, as well as a full pub menu. The location was very well received by local beer fans as something that was needed in the area.
Despite closing this location, the brewery is still going very strong with their main Croydon location, as well as their New Hope satellite location they opened in June. We look forward to what comes next with NCBC.
The brewery released the below statement on why they are closing the location, thanking both Jenkintown beer fans and their employees who helped make the place possible.
Goodbyes are never easy. But we are going to do our best with this one.
We write today to inform everyone in our community that we are permanently closing Neshaminy Creek’s Borough Brewhouse.
Over the last few years, we have grown to love the Jenkintown community for its support, friendly faces, and good times. We created something truly special here, and we loved every minute of sharing it with you all. Since the onset of this pandemic, our future has been caught in the shuffle of constant changes, and we’ve been doing our best to navigate them all, day-to-day. Ultimately, we have come to the difficult decision that we must sell the building.
To our staff – we humbly thank you for everything. We put together a pretty awesome work fam, and we can’t thank you enough for everything you gave to the Brewhouse over the past few years. We couldn’t have done it without you.
To our community – over the past few years, you have embraced us with open arms. From your favorite burgers from the burger battles to our Sunday Brunch’s, we’ve shared some amazing times together. The messages we have received from you all over the past year asking about our re-opening, and the kind notes of your fondness for our Brewhouse, have been simply incredible. We can’t thank you enough, and we wholeheartedly encourage you to come visit us in Croydon, or in New Hope. We will welcome you all with open arms at both of these locations.
Thank you to everyone again. Although it’s goodbye to the Brewhouse location, it’s not goodbye forever to our beloved community, or to Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company. We hope to see you all soon.
