Ambler Beer Company, an independent craft brewery based in Ambler and in operation since 2019, has announced the sale of its Brewery and Taproom assets to Well Crafted Beer Company. The sale will be effective at a future date.

Founded by owner and Head Brewer Doug Buddle, Ambler Beer Company currently operates the Brewery and Taproom, where a wide variety of beer styles is offered so that everyone can always find a beer to enjoy. Since opening, Ambler Beer Company has expanded operations by self-distributing beer to over 40 Restaurants and Retailers in the Southeastern PA market, including most local Wegmans stores.

Well Crafted Beer Company is a Lansdale, PA based brewery operating since 2018. This will be a second location for the company, offering an expansion in brewing capacity and a second Taproom. Plans for the Ambler location include entertainment, food, a variety of beers, seasonal cocktails, and wines, all of which are some of the attributes that make the Lansdale location a popular visit.

Timing on the final sale and transition details will follow and will have some dependency on license approval for Well Crafted. In the meantime, Ambler Beer Company will continue normal operations at the Ambler Yards property located at 300 Brookside Avenue, Ambler PA.
