Arboretum Trail Brewing Opens Brewery In Pittsburgh

Back in February, we first brought you the news that Arboretum Trail Brewing was planning to open in the former Couch Brewing location. The brewery recently opened at 1351 Washington Blvd in Pittsburgh’s Larimer neighborhood.

“The road has been reasonably short but long at the same time. A lot of blood, sweat, and definitely a few tears went into what we have for everyone. Friday marks the beginning of a new road for Arboretum Trail.”Ben Steffen, Co-Owner and Head Brewer of Arboretum Trail

The location offers 15 draft taps, with at least 10-12 earmarked for Arboretum Beer, while also providing a cider and/or a mead option as well as possibly a few guest taps. In total, the space will fit around 80 people, including 12-14 seats at the large bar. The brewery will also have rotating food trucks for customers to enjoy.

Arboretum Trail Brewing will be offering cans right away and will be increasing its portfolio by starting a sour program, something head brewer Ben Steffen has had a passion for. They plan to offer a large number of lagers, big barrel-aged stouts, and barleywines.
