Baked pumpkin ale is a 7.5%, 20 IBU, seasonal (August-November) offering from Lancaster Brewing.
With a deep amber color and a solid vanilla finish, you’ll be left wanting another. Nutmeg also adds to the spice and flavor in this one.
Pouring to that deep amber color, you’ll get a bright white foamy head. Smells of pumpkin and also a little sweet potato, with tastes of cinnamon, pumpkin, vanilla, nutmeg as well as faint caramel. You’ll notice how smooth and creamy this feels.
Overall this is a solid pumpkin ale, well balanced and medium bodied. It’s not too heavy which you might have assumed at first, and doesn’t lean very spicy or sweet.
