Born and Raised Pennsylvania IPA – A Collaboration Between East End Brewing and Troegs Independent Brewing

When it comes to Pennsylvania beer you know where we stand. So when a beer is named “Born And Raised Pennsylvania” we are all over it!

Born and Raised Pennsylvania IPA is a 6.5% IPA collaboration between East End Brewing (Pittsburgh, PA) and Troegs Independent Brewing (Hershey, PA). This beer was brewed for Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week, and made with all PA malt – 1200lbs from Double Eagle Malt (Huntington Valley, PA), and 800lbs from Deer Creek Malthouse (Glen Mills, PA). It was hopped with 120 lbs of comet, 44 lbs of simcoe, and 44 lbs of azacca.

Pouring to your traditional New England style haze this beer immediately looks like it will have the juice flavor profile one expects from the NEIPA style. And this beer does not disappoint. Offering a creamy mouthfeel you will get the subtle taste of the hop profile leaving a citrus like after taste.

It is clear that when two breweries with the stature of East End and Troegs get together that some magic is bound to happen….. and that is exactly the case here.
