Cox Brewing Company To Open “Rally Point” Taproom In Elizabethtown

You can add Cox Brewing to one of the latest breweries in Pennsylvania with plans to expand their operations. The brewery is scheduled to open the “Rally Point” taproom in Elizabethtown, PA later this Summer.

For those not familiar, Cox Brewing opened in 2015 and is a veteran-owned brewery located in Elizabethtown, PA in the village of Rheems. The brewery is run by the duo of  Nick Cox (Brewmaster/ Owner) and Tim Kreider (Head Brewer/Owner). As the profile on their website says, the two grew up as childhood friends before getting into military service.

More from their bio:

“Nick and Tim started home brewing in 2006. Fast forward nearly 10 years and hundreds of weekend batches later, these “brothers” have shared an appreciation for great craft beer, motorcycles, and created a first-generation family legacy. “

Over the past 5 years, Cox has become known for producing a wide variety of beer, with up to 12 taplines in their current space.

Rally Point will be located at 50 Veterans Drive in Elizabethtown, just a short 10-minute drive from their main brewery location. As the brewery describes it, “the new space will have a 20-foot bar, a dedicated stage for live music, a bunker, outdoor patio, and delicious menu options on the property from our friends at Pizzatown.” And of course, a delicious line of craft beer the area has come to know and appreciate.

The new taproom is not open yet, however, opening day is expected for sometime in mid-July.  The brewery even plans to release their first-ever sour beer to mark the occasion. Make sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram for all new updates.
