Grand Opening: Broken Goblet Brewing July 13th Plus Gobletstock 5 (Bensalem)

(Bensalem, PA) Consider this more of a grand re-opening. As many know, Broken Goblet Brewing recently shut down operations at their original home and moved to Bensalem to opening their new space!

Join them on Saturday, July 13th from 1:00 – 6:00 PM as they will be celebrating both Gobletstock 5 AND the grand opening of this new location in Bensalem! Goblestock 5 includes:

• Free to attend as always
• 40+ beers on the list to drink
• Waterslide onsite and kids welcome
•”Irregular Members” you get 1 hour early access per your membership, plus 1 guest
• Live music will be on TWO stages, indoor and outdoor

“This year, with our new space, we have so much room inside to accommodate guests, and we have room to manage much of the beer inside. Plus, it makes a ‘rain or shine’ event that much easier to deal with”, says Co-Owner Mike LaCouture.

The brewery has been hard at work making specialty beers for the event. Co–owner Bubba Grosse and head brewer Dan Long say they have some crafty ideas up their sleeves, including a new pale ale and variants of their Raspberry Limeade Radler, Send Me an Angel. “We put some beers in barrels right before we left Bristol so we could make sure we had some big beers ready for July”, says Bubba. They got the green light to brew on their new equipment, and they have at least 10 new recipes, including some long-wished for lagers, as well as several new IPAs.

LaCouture goes on to say, “Every brewery we talk to that has been around for a few years will say the same thing, that you have to tack on extra time to your predicted opening window. We knew that already. However, what we have gone through, you could never predict. We are going to raise this monster from the grave, and show everyone just how much heart we put into this place.”

We recently toured the new space, this is a brewery location like no other. The Broken Goblet owners have created a spot with a vibe that carries over from their original spot, only with space to grow, and space to play. They have a mezzanine for busy nights and private parties, three bars, and a huge outdoor patio with a lower beer garden with horseshoe pits and corn hole in the works for this summer.

Additionally, their next door neighbors are a very well-known pizza restaurant, Vince’s Pizza, and a brand new Distillery, Key Spirits. The brand new Riverwalk complex, will continue to expand in the coming months with an outdoor music pavilion and more!
