Inner Groove Brewing Announces Plans To Expand Into The Allentown Neighborhood Of Pittsburgh

You can add Inner Groove Brewing to one of the latest breweries in Pennsylvania with plans to expand its operation. The brewery recently announced the plans to open a new taproom in the Allentown neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

Inner Groove, which was founded in June of 2019 by two couples, Kevin and Jennifer Walzer and Kelly and Tim Melle, currently operates a 7 barrel brewery inside a 4,000 square feet former interior design shop in Verona with 16 taps available. For those not familiar, the brewery was founded on pairing the love of music with the passion for craft beer.

The new taproom will be located in a 3,000+ square foot building at 827 E Warrington Avenue. A space that was most recently the home of the Allentown Learning and Engagement Center but has been dormant since 2019.

According to the brewery’s post online, the new location will open with its own outdoor beer garden, which you can see from the picture above.

No word yet on when construction will begin. But you can keep up with all of the growth by following Inner Groove on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We will continue to update as they get closer to their opening date.
