It Would Appear As If Burd’s Nest Brewing Has Closed

It would appear that Burd’s Nest Brewing in Carlisle has closed. Or has taken a temporary hiatus. We aren’t quite sure.

We say this because there has been no official word from the brewery on the current status of their business. As of this writing, the brewery’s most recent social media posts are from October of last year. At the same time, their website would appear down and their google listing lists them as permanently closed.

Further speculating on the closure it would appear the brewery is being listed as for sale at the listing below. Once again, pure speculation as the listing does not make reference to the specific business. However, many of the details in the listing (turnkey brewery in downtown Carlisle opened in 2018) accurately describe Burds Nest. It’s also worth noting that the main image from this listing is taken from Cape Brewing in South Africa and not any brewery in Pennsylvania.

We did reach out to the brewery directly to confirm the news. An email sent from us to ownership bounced back as undeliverable and the publicly listed phone number went right to voicemail. We will continue to update as more information is made available.
