Lancaster County Brewers Guild To Release Inaugural Beer Collab; August 5th

Back in December of 2020, we brought you the news of the launch of the Lancaster County Brewers Guild. A group consisting of 17 Lancaster area breweries with the same mission; bringing like-minded brewers together to uplift and drive craft brewing forward in Lancaster County.

With 2021 in full swing the guild has not only officially launched, but they already have a collaboration beer release planned to celebrate. As a part of the launch, the guild has introduced its own website that comes complete with a full list of breweries involved as well as a map of the “Lancaster Brewery Trail” where each can be found.

But that isn’t all. As we shared above, the guild is also prepared to release its very first beer collaboration. In late July of this year, many of the breweries involved in the guild teamed together at Lancaster Brewing Company to bring this beer to life. The collaboration beer, which will be known as “Lancaster County Brewers Guild West Coast IPA” is, as the name suggests, a West Coast IPA that will feature Simcoe and Amarillo hops. And will be available in draft only at select Lancaster County Breweries.

As of this writing, the plan is to release the beer on National IPA Day, Thursday, August 5th at brewery locations all across Lancaster County. Make sure to follow the guild on Facebook for specific release information.
