Largemouth is an American IPA and the flagship IPA by Wallenpaupack Brewing Company. Its a medium to light bodied beer made with Chinook, Simcoe and Citra hops.
Aroma: Has some notes of citrus, tangerine and pine with stone fruit slightly dominant.
Appearance: Hazy gold with off white head
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body and smooth texture. Lighter carbonation which adds to the smoothness.
Overall: A medium ABV, drinkable IPA that is moderately crisp and also has a good hop presence. Balanced and well rounded, it’s somewhere in the middle of a New England style and traditional American style IPA. The Chinook and Simcoe add some grapefruit and pine notes which compliment well the citrus of the Citra hops.
