Lealta Saison from Conshohocken Brewing Company is a 6.3% saison/farmhouse ale, available in 16oz cans on a rotating basis.
This is a refreshing beer for the warm PA summers we get. Pouring to a golden yellow color with a small head and barely any lacing, you’ll notice the fruit and spice aromas. These aromas come from the Belgian yeast they used while brewing.
The taste is pretty dead on for a saison/farmhouse ale. Lealta is refreshing with a dry finish, this beer has some flavor to it! You’ll get a little pepper spice bite on the back end, but overall has a medium body with not too much carbonation. To taste you’ll get notes of: some grapfruit, slight hoppy flavor, golden malt, pepper, Belgian spice, and a touch of banana. This almost tastes to us like a mix of a hefeweizen style beer and a saison.
Overall a solid offering from Conshohocken Brewing Co. as the second beer we have reviewed from them .
