McAllister Brewing Teams With Deer Lake Pub & Restaurant To Open Second Tap Room

McAllister Brewing Company (North Wales) has announced a new partnership with The Deer Lake Pub and Restaurant in Orwigsburg, PA. The Deer Lake Pub will be transforming their current dining room into a Tap Room that will exclusively feature a variety of McAllister’s craft beers.

The Tap Room will house a bar, lounge area and seating for patrons. Additionally, the space will be used to barrel age brews for the brewery. The grand opening is scheduled for May of this year.

This partnership is a vision of DLP owner Brian Romeo and McAllister Brewing Company owners Mike and Kate McAllister and Seth Montz. Mike, Kate, and Seth opened their brewery in 2018 with overwhelming success which allowed them to seek expansion of the brewery ultimately landing in Schuylkill county at the DLP.

Montz, a US Army combat veteran and Schuylkill Haven native, saw the location of the DLP as the perfect gateway to the craft beer scene in Schuylkill Country. He wanted to bring his business back home. “I grew up here and wanted to give something back to the area that made me who I am today. It just made sense and I am glad I was in the position to do so.” – Seth Montz

The DLP is located on Highway 61 in Deer Lake. Their family-friendly environment is a local destination that has many offerings from casual and affordable dining to a fun pub scene with pool tables, games, and jukebox. The diverse menu has great wings and burgers to delicious steaks and crab cakes.
