Night of the Living Stout is a stout with 7.1% from Full Pint Brewing Co. located in North Versailles, PA. The “Wild Side Pub,” their brewpub, is located in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh and offers great appetizers and sandwiches to pair with all their best brews.

Stouts usually come in one of two forms, your standard enjoyable smooth stout with a fairly thick profile and then the imperial, high in ABV and warmth, aged to perfection. Night of the Living Stout offers a third option, hoppy and slightly more bitter.

Pouring to an expected deep brown with a large pillowy, light brown head, that slowly dissolves leaving behind of coffee-like ring about the glass. On the nose there are scents of coffee, caramel and roasted malts.

First sips offer a mixture of creamy stout texture with a strong, roasted coffee bean bitterness and a hint of malty sweetness. The finish however, is straight hop bitterness, 110 IBUs to be exact, all of which linger on the tongue in between sips.
