Paleo IPA is a 6.2% American IPA from North Country Brewing Company (Slippery Rock, PA).
Pouring to a gold/copper color with a small white head, you’ll get some pretty strong lacing in your glass. Aromas of resiny and grapefruit hops, along with caramel malts and citrus fruits.
Tasting brings flavors of light malts leading way to some fruity hop bitterness that IPA lovers will enjoy, think orange and grapefruit. Although this is not extremely hoppy, the bitterness and malts work well to give you a very drinkable, one might say session, India Pale Ale.
Paleo has a creamy taste to it with enough carbonation to balance out. With a clean and fruity finish you will definitely want more of this brew. Available year round in cans and on tap, this is a great offering from North Country Brewing!
