Tired Hands has added to their line of Milkshake beers with this new and limited Piña Colada Milkshake. This 7.2% IPA is brewed with oats, lactose sugar, and wheat flour. Hopped intensely with Mosaic and Citra. Conditioned atop Madagascar vanilla beans toasted coconut flakes and generous amount of delicious pineapple purée. Dreamt up in tandem with our main dudes at Omnipollo from all the way over in Stockholm, Sweden. Notes of sweet coconut milk, citrus hops, whipped cream, pineapple, and mallomars.
As a Tired Hands supporter they have hit (another) home run with this beer. Tired Hands is known for their ability to brew very unique, and sometimes hard to find, craft beer. Ask craft fans across the country and they will all tell tales of their love for this little brewery in Ardmore, PA. The Piña Colada Milkshake lives up to the Tired Hands brand. It has the creamy texture that one of their Milkshake beers brings coupled with those hints of vanilla and coconut. When you think Pina Colada you may be concerned that this beer will be too fruity or too much like a Caribbean drink. It does not drink like this. It drinks like a good craft beer should. Hints of hops and oats coupled with a slight coconut/ vanilla flavor on the back end. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on this beer you will be very happy you did.
