….nothing. Absolutely nothing.

You may have seen a whole lot of Pennsylvania departments and breweries passing around the “Pursue Your Hoppiness” images. That’s about as deep as the month gets when it comes to craft beer in Pennsylvania.

Let’s take a look at some of the fun activities the state has planned for the month:

Which you may find odd as the state recently awarded itself nearly $130,000 tax payer dollars towards the “pursue your hoppiness” project. So you’d think they’d have some money to put together special events to help you, the beer consumer, enjoy more Pennsylvania craft beer.

However, not all the money went to waste. You could go to the site they built with the money and visit one of the 73 breweries in the state. (Hint; there’s close to 300)

So while “Pursue Your Hoppiness” is a cute tagline for breweries and the state to blast all over social media this month, don’t expect to see much more than that.

Well, all of this isn’t entirely true. The Governor does have a glad handing event planned for top folks within the brewing industry. (We did receive the invite, but that’s something you won’t catch us at) You’ll at least get to live vicariously through that event on social media as the state pursues it’s hoppiness!
