Manayunk Brewing Co’s Sour Resin Project was created to allow their brewers to experiment with custom small-batch beers using non-traditional techniques.
Sour Resin Project #1 from Manayunk Brewing Company is a 5.9% dry hopped sour ale with just 23 IBUs.
Pouring to a golden color with a white foamy head, it smells of citrus (from the Huell Melon and Citra hops) and tart on the nose, making you anticipate the flavors to come.
Tasting this brings a nice sour flavor without being overbearing, and finishes dry. We tasted great hop flavors and some lemon notes from the citra hops that were added.
#1 is available in 750 ml bottles at your local bottle shop, or on draft at the brewery.
