Stellar Phase is a 5% ABV unfiltered double hopped pale ale from South County Brewing Company (Fawn Grove, PA).
This beer came out of South County’s Interval series. It uses Northwest Hops, and has the same base malt recipe as Cosmic Nod. Stellar Phase started as a temporary replacement for Cosmic Nod, but the response was so great they had to bring it back!
Pouring to a hazy golden orange, you’ll get a large white head in your glass. Aromas of citrus, floral hops are immediately noticeable, which carry over to the flavors. Sweet citrus (tangerine, mango), pine, and bright floral hops hit your taste buds with a medium mouthfeel and carbonation. This beer has a light bitterness and finishes slightly dry, and leaves you wanting another.
