What is better than drinking a fine pint of craft beer from a Pennsylvania brewery? We argue that drinking a pint of fine Pennsylvania craft beer that benefits a cause is much, much better. You can do that by visiting Fishtown Brewpub at 1101 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia, PA. Tail Waggin Wheat was brewed with their friends over at the Pennsylvania SPCA, and is a great beer to bring a growler of to the dog park on a hot day.

This beer pours a hazy amber color, akin to most Bavarian wheat beers. On the nose you catch the yeast phenols of banana and clove, much like you would expect from this style of beer. On the palate a delightful amount of sweetness greet you with a subtle amount of banana and clove yeast phenols greet you. This beer finishes refreshingly dry and is the perfect easy drinking beer for spring.

As if this refreshing wheat beer weren’t enough, each pint benefits the Pennsylvania SPCA throughout the month of April. If you’ve got a pup of your own, be sure to stop by the Brewpub and pick up a dog biscuit made from the spent grain of this delicious brew! Be sure to stop by their location at 1101 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia, just steps away from The Fillmore Philadelphia.
