Test Piece: Citra is a 6.8% IPA from Cinderlands Beer Company (Pittsburgh, PA). This is the first can in Cinderlands Test Piece series and is single hopped with Citra. This beer is brewed with two row, flaked oats, wheat malt, and carafoam, and features Vermont ale yeast.
Pouring to a hazy straw color, we got a bright white head in our glass. We noticed mango and some floral notes on the nose of this one.
Drinking Test Piece: Citra brings flavors of that mango, some melon, peach, and berries. A sweet fruit front carries through and finishes well, with mild bitterness.
