Up, Up & Away is 2SP Brewing Company’s second New England Style IPA can release. For their first effort, they teamed up with their friends Tonewood Brewing of Oaklyn, NJ to create the citrus-forward NEIPA, Allocated.
The brewers at 2SP took one of their new favorite beers, Up & Out IPA and doubled their recipe to create this New England Style Double IPA. Up, Up, & Away is brewed with Mosaic, Cascade, & Simcoe hops, wheat, and oats, creating a fresh, tasty New England style Double IPA. The beer boasts of notes of peach, plum, and citrus on the nose and follows through on the palate. Their use of wheat and oats in this 8% DIPA creates a nice mouthfeel that allows those stone fruit and citrus flavors to linger between each sip, but is equally smooth to drink. This beer is one to take home and attempt to savor each sip on a spring evening, but like the name suggests, it will be gone as quickly as you pour it.
Stay tuned for more from Aston’s 2SP Brewing Company, and be sure to grab a four pack or try it on tap before it goes Up, Up, & Away!
