Vaporizer is an Imperial Pale Ale with 6.8% Abv from Tired Hands Brewing Company. This was a limited quantity release in mid January at the Tired Hands Fermenteria. Brewed with Mosaic, Citra, and Amarillo, there is also a small amount of red rye in this IPA.

Given how Tired Hands makes their IPA’s with tons of hops, we were excited to crack this open. Pouring out hazy yellow/orange, you will get a prominent head on this beer. The aromas are of juicy, grassy and floral tropical fruits: mango, guava and a little piney.
Tasting (always the fun part) Vaporizer, brings all these tropical fruits as well. Given how intense this was hopped, we had a feeling notes of mango, grapefruit, papaya and melons were in store. We also tasted a few grass and yeast notes as well.
Another great IPA from Tired Hands, Vaporizer is medium bodied and not too carbonated, and finishes somewhat dry. This is a smooth, “tropical” beer given the hop flavors, and is not very bitter. You’ll want to drink this juicy brew on a warm summer day.
