If you have followed us long enough you know we love to support good cause. So when the folks at the The Melanoma Research Foundation reached out to us we we’re all about it. On Wednesday, June 13th they are hosting their 5th annual Wings Of Hope For Melanoma Gala at the Water Works in Philadelphia. (You can still buy tickets here)
During their gala they will be hosting an auction to support their cause. As a part of this auction we will have two “Best of Philadelphia Beer” gift baskets available to win.
Before we get to the contents of the gift basket we would like to shine a special light on the breweries who were kind enough to donate to the cause. As we always say, we support all PA Craft Breweries. However, when breweries go above and beyond in moments like these, we ask that you show them extra love.

Urban Village Brewing
Urban Village’s craft beer and brick oven pizza pairing has the goal to create a concept that is thoroughly unique in its provision of craft beer and natural fermented yeast dough pizza. The result is a neighborhood brewpub that meets the same excellent quality standards of service the business moguls are known for. Evil Genius
Founded by friends Luke Bowen and Trevor Hayward in 2011, Evil Genius Beer company now produces 28 different products in Bottles and on Draught. Visit their Tasting Room in Philadelphia, also known as “The Lab”. Check them out on Front Street yourself to get your hands on their tasty Lab exclusives!
Yards Brewing
A staple of the Philadelphia beer scene, Yards has been brewing their beer since 1994. For them it has always been about working hard, having a good time and giving back. They recently moved into their new location on Spring Garden Street. Check out the expansion and get your hands on their classic beer.
