On Wednesday, December 21st Tower Hill Brewery in Chalfont, PA will be releasing their special strong ale, Winter Hibernation.
The newest beer on tap at Tower Hill Brewery is the brewer’s present to Stan, Pam, our staff and customers. Winter Hibernation is a German ale similar to their Altbier made with five kinds of malt and Spalt hops. Its 6% ABV and rich, dry, malty finish is balanced by oak character.
Winter Hibernation was aged on charred wood for a month before today’s release. Lou and Pat Farrell, the brewers, have been hiding this one in the back of the brewery so we can have a special holiday gift for our friends in the Tower Hill community.
