Woke, a breakfast stout from Hitchhiker Brewing Company in Pittsburgh, is full of perfectly balanced flavors. This 8.2% ABV stout is currently pouring and canned at Hitchhiker’s brewery and taproom in Sharpsburg, which opened last fall, and at their original pub and former brewery in Mt. Lebanon.
Pouring a deep brown, this breakfast stout supplies the senses with aromas of fresh roasted coffee, maple, and vanilla. Brewed with PA Maple Syrup from Paul Family Farms (Galeton, PA) and conditioned on Mexican Oaxaca Coffee from 19 Coffee Company (Washington, PA), Vietnamese cinnamon and vanilla, this breakfast stout takes hold of the palate, yet finishes light and smooth.
