Zeroday Brewing Breaks Ground On Fourth Location In PA

Zeroday Brewing Company has a fourth location coming to the Harrisburg area, with a rough estimate of opening in Summer 2022.

They will be opening in a brand new mixed-use town center called Susquehanna Union Green, located at 2615 Linglestown Road in Harrisburg. As their website states, this location will have a “mix of public greens, commercial/retail spaces, a neighborhood grocery, a hotel, and homes and apartments”

We recently spoke with Zeroday Brewing Company owner Theo Armstrong, to get more information on what beer fans can expect at their 4th location.

The whole concept with Susquehanna Union Green is maximizing green space and will have walking trails throughout. This location for Zeroday is going to be much more green space-focused, compared to their others. They will have a large outdoor beer garden area with yard games, inviting beer fans to show up and hang out. As Theo told us, they will be “tying it to Appalachian trail and hiking as much as they can, since that is at the core of what Zeroday is about”.

This location will not have a brewhouse and will be a straight restaurant/taproom for the brewery. They estimate to have the capacity for about 125 inside, and a 20-tap bar with seating for about 16 people. They are also working on having the back part of the bar open directly to the beer garden. There will also be a private event space at this location too.

For food, the brewery is currently working on a full-service restaurant menu. Theo told us they are bringing a chef in to finalize the food menu but will include high-quality “shareables and small plates” that are synonymous with a brewpub.

Why are they doing all these locations? In talking with Theo, his vision is very clear “I want to find a beer for everyone at each of our locations, and our idea as a company, is to bring different Zeroday experiences to different parts of the community. We listen to what the community says, we are fully engrained in them”.

Here is a rundown of each Zeroday location and their production facility, and Theo’s explanation of each:

Harrisburg Taproom – This taproom is a destination and is more of an urban feel right near the Capitol. La Catrina serves up modern Mexican cuisine here.

Outpost at Broad Street Market – This location opened in 2017, and is a “farmers market bar. This location is an iconic spot in the community to enjoy beers, while also enjoying all that the farmers market has to offer.

Outpost at Midtown Cinema – This location offers a gourmet hotdog bar. It has a relaxed overall vibe, with a 10 person bar. You can purchase any Zeroday beers and go in and watch a movie.

And Zeroday’s Production Facility – This location was the original taproom that was converted to a production facility with a 10BBL brewhouse.
