2SP Brewing Company is expanding with a new Delaware County taproom. This new location will be at 95 Wilmington West Chester Pike in Chadds Ford.
We spoke with co-owner Michael Stiglitz to get the details on the space, and what beer fans can expect when they open.
The brewery will open in the former 3,500 sq/ft La Pina Mexican restaurant, which they’ve owned since 2019. The space will have around 135 seats total, with a 20 seat bar, and feature 12 taps of all 2SP beer. With a full restaurant liquor license, guests can also enjoy wine and liquor at the bar. There’s also an outdoor patio that will be dog-friendly. While they will not have any brewing system onsite, they will be aging beer at this location.
The former space was wide open in design and we transformed it into a more sectioned and “Covid” aware space. There are 2 full garage doors that go to window height, and the entire building can be open-air on 3 sides.
For food, 2SP has a full chef team ready to go. The menu will be a little smaller than usual for the 2 stones pub group but will include items such as smash burgers that can be stacked 1-3 patties, baked pretzels, spent grain biscuits, salads, sandwiches, and some “tap house gastropub fun food”, as Michael put its.
For now, the entire location is ready to go, it’s inspected and approved. The brewery is waiting to get the proper amount of staffing in place to open the doors. If you are interested in working for 2SP Brewing Company in Chadd’s Ford, please click here to apply.
Breweries In PA will follow up with a grand opening announcement once 2SP is ready to open this location. In the meantime, make sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram for all the latest news and beers.
