Broken Heels by New Trail Brewing of Williamsport, PA is a solid addition to this current “haze craze.”  Brewed with American hops grown in the Pacific Northwest, Broken Heels pours a hazy straw/yellow color with aroma of orange zest, rich pine and tropical melon.

Those citrus and pine flavors follow as you sip this beer, but you are not overwhelmed by bitterness as this beers full mouthfeel overtakes your palate.  This soft bitterness and full mouthfeel that comes from their use of oats in the brewing process produce a fine example of how this style should be done.
