Essential Citrus is an 8.3% ABV NE Style IPA from Levante Brewing Company (West Chester, PA). Brewed with a Citra, El Dorado, Idaho 7, Mosaic and a New England yeast strain, you notice how hazy this brew is!
Pouring to a cloudy orange hazy, you’ll get a one inch white head in your glass. Aromas on this one are very heavy on tropical citrus. Flavors of strawberry, pineapple, and tangerine were all noticeable.
This brew has a light body and soft mouthfeel with a low bitterness. A very tasty DIPA, Levante keeps bringing it with the haze.
