Orange-Colored Malcontent is a 9.5% DIPA from Free Will Brewing Company (Perkasie, PA). This beer was brewed with 120 pounds of fresh hand squeezed Cara Cara oranges, and hopped with Idaho 7, Eukanot, and Apollo hops.
Pouring to a dark orange/gold, you’ll get a thick white head in your glass. Aromas of this one is all orange, and some grapefruit/melon. Tasting this brew brings flavors of fresh oranges, orange rind, some berries, and spicy grapefruit. This beer is full bodied and has an ABV that sneaks up on you. With moderate carbonation and low bitterness, OCM finishes with spicy grapefruit flavors.
