Hop Pod is a 7.2% ABV New England style IPA brewed by Tattered Flag Brewery (Middletown, PA). This beer is brewed with lactose, white wheat, and lots of hops including Galaxy and Idaho-7.
Pouring to a hazy copper color, you’ll notice a big white head in your glass. We noticed nice grapefruit aromas and some dank grassy hops.
Light and juicy, Hop Pod is crushable for an imperial IPA. Tasting this brew brings flavors of a nice bright citrus punch, with a smooth lactose finish. We are very excited to try more from Tattered Flag!
